Jay (Bernard) D. Goettle age 43, of Farmington, MN, formerly of Lansford, ND passed away suddenly on January 26, 2013. Jay is preceded in death by grandparents, Madeliene and Donald Thompson and Nora and Herbert Goettle; father, George A. Goettle, Stepfather, Robert Nore, father in-law Jerry Johnston, and several uncles and aunts. He is survived by his wife, Marie Johnston; children, Matthew Johnston and his fiancé Brenna with grandson Mason, and daughter Mia Johnston; mother, Cheryl C. Nore and his guiding father for the past 28 years Carl A Haugan; brother, Raymond J. Goettle (Brenda); sister, Angela M. Goettle-Connelly and her significant other James Ferraro; sisters, Tasha Haugan Hewitt (Vaughn), Tammy Haugan Yuleberg (Shaun), Tanya Haugan Anderson (Jon), Traci Haugan; Mother in law, Margie Johnston; sibling in-laws, Michelle Morey ‘Mickey’, Terry Johnston (Tonia), Gwen Siegmund, Mark Johnston and Jeff Johnston (Deb), and also by several loving uncles, aunts, nephews, and nieces. A Memorial Service will be held at 4 PM Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the White Funeral Home, 901 3rd St. Farmington, MN 55024 (651-463-7374) with a friend and family gathering 2 hours prior to the service. In Lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
