In Loving Memory of Anatoliy Vinetsky
July 5, 1945 – April 9, 2025
Anatoliy Vinetsky, age 79, was born on July 5, 1945, and passed away surrounded by family on April 9, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Oxana; his cherished sons, Oleg and Vadym; adored daughter-in-law, Jillian; and precious grandchildren, Vivian (5) and Aiden (2).
Anatoliy was born in Russia, and moved to Ukraine as a child. He came from challenging beginnings and, through hard work and determination, built a successful career as an engineer and entrepreneur.
After meeting the love of his life, Oxana, they built a beautiful life together based on passion, devotion, and a shared vision. They raised their two beloved sons in Ukraine before moving to the United States in 1997. Anatoliy was deeply proud to become a US citizen and give his family a path to the American dream. He embraced every opportunity with gratitude and hope. He worked tirelessly and selflessly to support his family and took immense joy in raising two incredible men.
One of the brightest joys of Anatoliy's later years was becoming a grandfather. He lovingly referred to his grandchildren as his "куколки/kookolki" (dolls). His face would light up at the mere mention of them. Vivian and Aiden inherited Anatoliy's radiant smile and the unmistakable twinkle in his eyes.
Those who knew Anatoliy closely would describe him as brilliant, loving, funny, charismatic, playful, and most of all strong. He had a generous heart, quiet strength, and a deep love for his family that was evident in everything he did.
While there is never enough time with the ones we love, Anatoliy's family is deeply grateful for every day they were able to share with him. He lived a long and full life, and they find comfort in knowing that he will continue to watch over them with pride and joy, as his legacy lives on through his children and grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Tuesday April 15, 2025 in the Chapel at the Roselawn Cemetery, 803 Larpenteur Ave W., Roseville, MN with a gathering of family and friends starting at 11:30 AM.
