Arleen Joyce Moren ("J") passed away on March 4th, 2025 at the age of 72 at her home in Lakeville, MN after battling cancer. Arleen was a New Years baby, born January 1st, 1953 in Taopi, MN. She was the fourth of six children to Clarence & Joline May. Arleen graduated from Adams High School in 1971 and received a degree in Biology from the University of Minnesota in 1975 where she met her husband, Stan. They married on July 12th, 1975, and would have celebrated 50 years this summer. Arleen was an avid reader and crossword enthusiast. She worked at the local Lakeville library for 18 years. She enjoyed being outdoors whether it was biking, gardening, cross-country skiing, hiking, camping on Lake Superior, or playing with her grandchildren. Arleen was immensely proud of her family and being with her grandkids was one of her greatest joys. Her legendary homemade apple pies were always a hit! She was a devoted and patient wife, mother, and grandmother who lived each day with a gentle and quiet spirit. Her strong faith carried her through to her final moments.

She is survived by her husband, Stan Moren; her children, Ryan Moren (Melissa), Mike Moren (Jennie) and Julie Johnson; and her beautiful grandchildren Emma, Molly, Jack, Rose, and Gabriel. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Joline May; her sister, Mary
Tancheff; her brother-in-law William (Drew) Anderson; and her son-in-law, Kevin Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at All Saints Catholic Church in Lakeville, MN on March 17th at 11:30 AM with visitation starting one hour prior at 10:30 AM. Interment at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Lakeville, MN.
