Arthur George Bollaert, age 73, of Rosemount, Minnesota passed away peacefully into the arms of his loving Savior on October 1, 2020. He was dearly loved and surrounded by his family at the time of his death. Art was born on January 27, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan. After high school he attended Michigan State University. He then enlisted in the Navy during the Vietnam era. He served four years as an Aviation Electrician and worked on jet planes while aboard the aircraft carriers. He felt it was a great honor to serve his wonderful country.
Art and Chris were married in 1966 and were blessed with three wonderful children, Barbara, Becky, and David. While working at the electric company (Detroit Edison) as a Substation Operator, Art felt God calling him into the ministry full-time. With his wife and 3 small children, the family moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota where he attended the University of Sioux Falls. He then received a Master of Divinity Degree from North American Baptist Seminary. Art loved the ministry and he loved people. He truly was a servant of the Lord and shared the gospel of Christ with enthusiasm and joy. After leaving full time ministry, Art worked for the St. Paul Companies as a Regional Area Manager in the Software Division.
