Our sweet mother, Barbara Lee (Nash) Russell born January 17th 1951 went home to be with the Lord on April 29th 2026 at the remarkable age of 75. Her life was a beautiful story of resilience, love, and generosity and her memory will forever live in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Despite the challenges of being a two time cancer survivor, she always made the best of what she had and never let circumstances steal her joy. Simple pleasures brought her happiness: her morning coffee, her love for the great outdoors and the familiar sound of country music playing in the background. These little routines were part of the fabric of her life and reminded us all that joy is often found in the smallest of moments.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are comforted in knowing that her life was long, full, and meaningful. We will miss her dearly, but her spirit will live on in every cup of coffee shared, every pie enjoyed and every story passed down through the generations.

She is survived by her children: John, Michael, (Valerie) and Christina Russell, brother Bill (Laurie) Nash, sister Brenda, and 8 grandchildren.

Celebration of life event will take place of Friday, May 15, 2026 at White Funeral Home in lakeville from 1-3pm. A family gathering will take place from 4-6pm at a family members home.
