Beverly Ann
Seurer
Jan 22, 1942 — Jun 26, 2026
Eagan
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Beverly Ann (Boegeman) Seurer, age 84, of Eagan, Minnesota, who joined our Lord on June 26, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Bev was born to Roland and Elizabeth "Betty" (Ryan) Boegeman on January 22, 1942. She was raised on the family farm in Credit River. As the firstborn, she learned the value of hard work, perseverance, faith, and family. Those values stayed with her throughout her life.
She graduated from Lakeville High School in 1960 and met the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Seurer, while attending a dance at the Spring Lake Ballroom. Bob and Bev spent countless nights gliding across the dance floor with effortless grace, drawing admiration from everyone around them. If you ever saw them dance, you know exactly what we mean.
Bob and Bev exchanged wedding vows at St. Michael's on June 17, 1961. After marrying, they made their home in Eagan, where Bev remained for the rest of her life. Together, they were blessed with five children: Kurt, Patty, Pam, Paula, and Bobby.
Bev was a devoted mother of five and the oldest of twelve children, a role she carried with strength, love, and responsibility from an early age. She spent much of her life caring for many other children through her daycare, where the kids lovingly called her "Bevy."
Her five children will tell you they had a loving, supportive, and memorable childhood. That love only grew as grandchildren and great-grandchildren were added to the family.
Grandma and Great-Grandma Bev was present at every sporting event, band concert, choir concert, play, and academic ceremony. You could often find her in the front row, beaming with pride. She once told the Hospice Chaplain that the best invention was GPS being added to her cell phone because it allowed her to find any field where her grandchildren were playing. Each and every one of her eleven grandchildren would tell you that she made them feel like they were her favorite.
Bev was hardworking, selfless, and always willing to make sacrifices for the people she loved. Her strength was quiet but powerful, and her love was steady and unconditional. Family was the center of her world. She loved deeply and had a way of making people feel cared for, welcomed, and important. Whether through her words, her actions, or the sacrifices she made, she showed her love every day.
She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, dedication, faith, and love. Her memory will live on in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and all who were blessed to know her.
Forever loved, Bev will be deeply missed by her children, Kurt (Ann) Seurer, Patty (Steve) Herkenhoff, Pam (Darrin) Rahbain, Paula (Jerry) Brohmer, and Bobby Seurer; grandchildren, Mathias Seurer, Jessica Rahbain, Alyssa (Randy) Johnson, Emily Herkenhoff, Andrea Seurer (fiancé Dan), Andrew Herkenhoff (girlfriend Riley), Jacob (Abigayle) Rahbain, Madison (Zach) Hage, Madeline Brohmer (boyfriend Ryan), Kal Brohmer, and Olivia Seurer; great-grandchildren, Antonio, Arianna, Neveah, and Mekhi Rahbain, Jordan Johnson, Holly and Henry Rahbain, Anders Hage, and baby boy Johnson due in September.
Bev was greeted in heaven by her husband, Bob; her parents, Roland and Betty Boegeman; her sister, Betty Menke; and in-laws, Kenny Hennen and Cathi Boegeman.
