Brayden Alexander
Christenson
May 22, 2007 — Oct 1, 2026
Lakeville, MN
With profound sadness and broken hearts, we announce that Brayden Alexander Christenson, 19, of Lakeville, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on October 1, 2026.
Brayden was a young man whose gentle heart, kindness, and sense of humor brought joy to everyone fortunate enough to know him. Living with autism, Brayden navigated the world in his own unique way and taught those around him invaluable lessons about compassion, authenticity, and unconditional love.
Brayden loved spending time with his cherished pets, playing video games, baking, and watching videos about animals and interesting facts. He had an inquisitive nature with his most recent interest in automotive maintenance.
Those who knew Brayden will remember his caring nature and his gift for making people laugh. Whether through a joke, a funny observation, or simply his presence, Brayden had a way of bringing smiles to family and friends.
To his family, Brayden was so much more than a diagnosis. He was a treasured son and brother whose love leaves an irreplaceable void in our lives. We will forever cherish his laughter, gentle spirit, unique perspective, and the countless memories we were blessed to share with him.
Brayden is survived by his loving parents, Edward and Brandy Christenson; his brother, Gabriel Christenson; his paternal grandmother, Sandra Christenson; his maternal grandparents, Greg and Sandra Amundson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Christenson, who surely welcomed him with open arms.
Funeral services will be held at Grace United Methodist Church in Burnsville, MN, with service details to be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Brayden's memory. Donations received will be designated at a later time toward programs, activities, and opportunities that support and enrich the lives of individuals living with autism, reflecting the resources and experiences that helped Brayden navigate the world.
Brayden, our hearts are broken by your absence, but we are grateful for every moment, every laugh, and every lesson you gave us.
We will love you forever.
