Candace (Candy) Jo Branch DeHoop, 79, of Apple Valley, MN, passed away on Tuesday, May 12th.

Born on May 9, 1947, in Lansing, Michigan, Candy DeHoop was the beloved daughter of Charles (Chuck) and Elenor (Jean) Branch. Candy will be remembered for her caring heart, unwavering strength, infectious laugh, and unforgettable stories. Her kindness, humor, smile, and fun-loving spirit brought joy to everyone around her. A true gem and everyone's favorite person, she loved dancing, lived strong in her faith, and was a ray of sunshine who made a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Candy is survived by her loving husband, Vernon DeHoop and her daughter, Abby (Snyder) DeHoop. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chuck and Jean Branch.

Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Peace Reformed Church, 2180 Glory Drive, Eagan, MN 55122. Family and friends are invited to join the family for a reception and fellowship in the church hall immediately following the service.
