Carol May Berger, age 91 of Rosemount, MN passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025 surrounded by her family. Carol was born on May 28, 1933 in Hope, North Dakota to Obert and Alma Germundson. Carol met her husband Anthony "Andy" Berger also in Hope, ND., she raised her family, and then worked for Greif Brothers, and was a teacher's aide for special education for 20 years at the Dakota County Technical School in Rosemount. Carol enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, and most of all making pot holders for family and friends, and even selling some of them.
Carol is preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Andy Berger, and 10 siblings. She is survived by her children, Janette (Glen) Betcher, of Zumbrota, MN, Jim Berger of St. Paul, MN, Mary Jo (Gerald) Belew of La Junta, CO, Michelle (Dan) Huberty of Lakeville, MN; grandchildren Timothy (Rhonda), Bryan (Tiffany), Eric, Andrew (Megan), Kyle (Dara), Karl (Gregg), Ryan, Tashia, Calise, Whitney and nine great-grandchildren Elise, Lauren, Brody, Keira, Logan, Audrey, Sam, Lesley and Everly; siblings, Corinne Berg, Warren "Bud" (Geraldine) Germundson and Maynard (Karen) Germundson, also by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, May 12, 2025 10:00 a.m., visitation at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 13900 Biscayne Ave. W., Rosemount. Interment will follow at Rosemount Cemetery. Carol was a devout Christian and long-term member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, sister, and friend. Carol is gone in body, but will forever live in our hearts and memories. Love you mom.
In lieu of flowers memorials will be donated to Living Well Home Health Care.
