Charles "Chuck" Robison

Charles David Robison, age 86, passed away with his two sons by his side on the evening of Monday, June 15, at his assisted living facility in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, after experiencing a medical event five days earlier.

He was preceded in death by his childhood sweetheart and loving wife, Judy; the grandparents who raised him in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his mother-in-law and her husband in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his sister-in-law and her husband in Des Moines, Iowa; and a close cousin in Cedar Rapids.

Chuck is survived by his son Jim and daughter-in-law Kim of Burnsville; his son Tom and daughter-in-law Jessica of Lakeville; his daughter, Jill; and his grandchildren, Sarah and her husband, Rahul Iyer, of Chicago, Emily, Morgan, Jack, Lauren, Sam, and Claire.

Chuck was a friendly, hardworking, fun-loving, generous, kind, and loving man with many friends. Throughout his life, he loved training and hunting with Labrador retrievers. A true outdoorsman, Chuck was an avid duck, goose, and pheasant hunter who cherished time spent hunting with his sons.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 20, at 11:00 a.m. at River Hills United Methodist Church in Burnsville. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A lunch reception will be served at the church afterward until 1:00 p.m., followed by a private family burial next to his wife, Judy.
