Cheryl Lynn Haglund (Heidemann), age 56, of Lakeville, Minnesota, passed away with her family and friends by her side on June 24, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Cheryl was born on June 28, 1969, in Danville, Indiana, to Warren and Marlene Heidemann. She graduated from Lakeville High School in 1987, earned her bachelor's degree from Winona State University in 1991, and attended the Minnesota Paralegal Institute in 1993.

Cheryl dedicated more than 27 years of service to Dakota County Community Services as a Child Support Officer. She was deeply committed to helping families and was respected for her compassion, integrity, and unwavering dedication to those she served.

Cheryl found joy in traveling, fishing, spending time at the family cabin, tending to her beautiful flowers, and caring for her beloved pets. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with family and the many friends she made throughout her life. Cheryl had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome, and her kindness, generosity, and loving spirit touched people from all walks of life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Marlene Heidemann.

Cheryl is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Keith; stepsons, Matt Haglund and Mike (Maggie) Haglund; brothers, Steve Heidemann and Scott (Rose) Heidemann; her nieces; extended family; and many dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, at White Funeral Home in Lakeville, Minnesota, with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 12:00 p.m. A Celebration of Cheryl's Life will follow the service.
