Cheryl Ann Stakston passed away on May 12, 2026. She is preceded in death by husband Malin Craig Stakston. Survived by her daughters Melissa Anne Harritt(Mark) and Stephanie Stakston, granddaughters Julianna Noelle Harritt and Gabrielle Marie Harritt; and many family and friends. Born on July 1, 1945 to Jacquelyn Bland and Harold Larson in Rolette, ND. Cheryl graduated from Rugby High School in 1963. She attended Minot University, Minot, ND and graduated in 1967 with a degree in Medical Technology. She met Malin, her husband of 56 years, at Minot University. They married on August 26, 1967 at First Lutheran Church in Rugby, ND. They moved to Forest Grove, OR where Malin attended Pacific University, School of Optometry, and Cheryl started work at the American Red Cross as a Medical Technician. Once Malin graduated they moved to Burnsville, MN where Cheryl continued to work at the American Red Cross in St. Paul, MN. She retired in 2011 after 44 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards, working on family genealogy, travelling and getting together with friends. One could always count on Cheryl to
listen and make time for you.

Service to be held 12:00 PM Tues. July 14, 2026 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Burnsville, MN.
