Cody Raymond Kent, age 29 of Burnsville, MN passed away unexpectedly of a drowning accident in Emily, MN. Cody was born on February 26, 1997, in Minneapolis, MN. He was working at Collins Aerospace at the time of his passing.

Cody is preceded in death by his grandparents, Delores and Raymond Bastyr, and Dale Freeburg. He is survived by his daughter, Emmalyn and her mother, Angelica Alvarez; parents, William "Bill" and Korynn Kent; twin sister, Jessica Kent; nephew, Jacob Kent Currie, and his father Dominick Currie; grandmother, Irene Freeburg, and other family and friends.

Celebration of Cody's Life will be held Sunday June 28, 2026 from 12:00 PM- 4:00 PM at Sand Point Beach, 14349 Crest Ave. NE, Prior Lake, MN 55372, shelter #1.
