Connie L. Peterson, age 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 4, 2025. Connie was born on February 13, 1945 and raised in southeastern Iowa. After graduating high school, she took classes at Iowa State University in home economics and fashion design. She married Chuck Peterson, her husband of nearly 60 years, on June 27, 1965.  They loved to work on projects together, especially refinishing furniture and doing remodeling projects around the house.

She was a devoted homemaker, and delighted in caring for her family. The light of her life was her children and grandchildren. She cherished every opportunity to spend time with them. An accomplished seamstress, all the children and grandchildren were gifted with many handmade clothes and projects.

Later in life, Connie and Chuck worked together to cultivate a beautiful flower garden, where she spent all her time from May to October.

Connie is survived by her husband Chuck, her children Paul (Tina) Peterson, Carissa (Rob) Bartlett, Teresa (James) Shackelford, and her grandchildren Natalya (Jonathan) Giesler, Lara Peterson, Alayna Peterson, Charlie Bartlett, Claire Bartlett, and Colette Shackelford.

Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 11:30am at All Saints Catholic Church, 19795 Holyoke Avenue, Lakeville MN 55044. Visitation at the church one hour before. Interment at All Saints Cemetery following Mass and lunch.
