Constance Jean
Triplett
Mar 20, 1947 — Jul 25, 2026
Farmington
Constance "Connie" Jean Triplett went home to meet Jesus on July 25th, 2026. She died peacefully at her daughter's home in Farmington with friends and family surrounding her.
A Celebration of Life open house will be held on Sunday, September 13th, at 1:00pm at her best friend Lory Frey's home in Lakeville at 20898 Jacquard Ave. MN 55044. In honor of her last wishes please bring something to share!
Connie was born on March 20, 1947, in Shakopee, MN, to Elroy and Jane (Pfleghaar) Preiss, one of two children. While she had transverse myelitis with numerous surgeries throughout her childhood, she didn't let that stop her in adulthood. Connie was an excellent mathematician which took her eventually to NWA then Delta airlines, finally retiring from the Pension Department at 72. Her career allowed her to travel with her family to numerous places, Arizona, California, Washington State and a Bahamas Cruise with her daughter to name a few.
A proud sister, mother and grandmother and wife, Connie was known for her consistently loving and non-judgmental temperament. She was always there to lend an ear, always positive despite her situation, with a sarcastic wit people rarely saw. She was creative, an excellent cook and loved spending her time with her family especially her grandchild, who she doted on.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David Triplett, her brother Bill Priess, her niece Karen Short, and her children Cole, Madison and Brooklyn Short.
Survivors include her only child Sara (Triplett) Tyler, Janae Quenzer, her beloved niece Constance Joy De Dios, her wonderful nephew Joshua (Kirsti Cole) Preiss of N. Carolina, plus her nephew Chris (Julia) Preiss of Sartell, niece Kelly (Mitch Govro) Wilhelm of Arizona, grandniece's and nephews: Jessica (Clint) Carlton, Nicole and Karolyn Preiss, Brittany and Tucker Wilhelm, and Oliver and Beckett Preiss.
