Daniel Gay, age 44, of Eagan, Minnesota, passed away on August 8, 2026. He was preceded in death by his Mother Edith Gay.

Daniel is survived by his spouse and love of his life Samantha Baker; his children Mehkai and Zander Baker; father Ken Gay, his brother Chris and Molly Gay; and his youngest brother Michael and Allie Craig, and loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Danny was the ultimate companion and the true definition of a father. Warm, reliable, and generous, he touched countless lives in ways both big and small. He was known as a loving dad to his boys, and a lifelong partner to their mother. Whenever life brought a challenge, he was
the person you counted on. By default, he was always the first to show up, roll up his sleeves, and save the day—never asking for anything in return, just glad to be there for those who needed him.

Dan lived life fully, filling his time with the passions and people that brought him joy. He took immense pride in tuning up and perfecting Raven, his 2017 VW GTI—a car he was truly proud of and loved to show off. Danny loved creating lifelong memories, whether he was setting up camp under the stars with his friends, immersed in a video game, or taking off on a new travel adventure with his best friend and partner Samantha. Yet, some of his favorite times were the simplest ones: hanging out with his friends or relaxing at home watching a movie with family by
his side.

Daniel was a property manager with Network Management Company.

The funeral will be held at White Funeral Home located at 14560 Pennock Avenue, Apple Valley, MN, on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 2:00pm; with a Visitation for an hour before from 1:00pm until time of Service.
