Diane Mary Fischer

May 4, 1955  - January 19, 2025

Our beloved Diane left us on January 19th, 2025, at Regions Hospital in St Paul, MN, surrounded by her loving children and longtime partner.

Diane was born in Milaca, Minnesota, on May 4th, 1955 to John and Cecelia Hanson. She moved to Northfield, MN in 1982, where she raised her children. Diane was very proud to have gotten her CNA Certification and loved being with her family and taking care of people.

She is preceded in death by her parents; step-father, William Steinmetz; siblings, Shirley, Raymond, James, and Janice; half-siblings, Marty, Milnor and Mildred.

Diane is survived by her partner of 21 years, Isaac; children, Melanie (Henry) Aguila, Billy "George" (Stephanie) Fischer, and Matt (Samantha) Fischer, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; siblings, Velma Olson, Ronald Hanson, Carol "Darlene" Brown, Ed (Bonnie) Hanson; also many other friends and family.

She will live on in our hearts as our angel.

Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 16, 2025, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 51 Church St, Elko New Market, MN 55054, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.

Interment at St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery in New Market, MN.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at New Market Township Hall, 8950 230th St E, Lakeville MN 55044.
