Obituary

Donna Marie (Koozer) Daniel passed away on November 11, 2025 at Mt. Olivet Care
Center after prolonged hospital and care center stays following two strokes and a
broken hip. Her loving husband Doug and Pastor Dixon from Mt. Olivet were by her side
as she passed away.

Donna was born on July 5, 1942 at Clearfield Hospital in Clearfield, Pa. She lived with
her Mother and Grandparents while her father was in the army in Europe during World
War II. She attended and graduated from Clearfield H.S. in 1960. She played cornet in
the marching band and majored in business. Donna is the oldest of 7 children, and she
was the de facto babysitter for the family.

After high school Donna won the Miss Plymptonville State beauty queen contest and
worked at Clearfield National Bank. She attended McConnell Airline School in Kansas
City Mo. After graduation she was hired by Northwest Airlines (Delta) as a reservation
agent in New York City. She then transferred to Bloomington, Mn where she became a
Stewardess (Flight Attendant) for what was then her dream job at Northwest Airlines.
She lived at the Northwest Training Facility at Essex Square Apartments where she met
her future husband Doug Daniel in the swimming pool one May day. They were married
on September 28, 1963 at Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. They were long
time members of St. James Lutheran Church and Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church.

Donna and Doug lived at 3500 DuPont Ave S. in Minneapolis in their first apartment.
They then moved to a duplex on 46 th Ave South in Minneapolis and later to apartments in
Bloomington. To make room for their children Michael and Tiffany they built a new
house in 1970 in Burnsville. They resided there until the present day.
Donna worked hard at various jobs to help support the family including Holiday Stores,
Donaldson Manufacturing, and National Car Rental. She worked for Mir-A-Cle Workers
in Burnsville doing bookkeeping for clients. During her Mir-A-Cle Workers career she
began attending Normandale Community College where she earned a degree with
honors in Accounting. After graduating from Normandale Donna began working for
Bloomington Chrysler Plymouth for 12 years as a Payroll and Accounts Receivable
Accountant. After her career at Bloomington Chrysler Plymouth she began working for
Eco Works Supply as their accountant for 21 years.

Donna is survived by her Husband Doug Daniel, Son Michael of Phoenix, Az, daughter
Tiffany and son-in-law Michael Murphy and granddaughter Audrey of Los Angeles, Ca.
She is also survived by sister Carolyn Thurstin of Mechanicsburg Pa, Brother Gail
Koozer and wife Ruth of Indianapolis, Ind. and brother Ashley Koozer of Curwensville,
Pa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Pennsylvania and Iowa.

She was preceded in death by brother Michael, brother Alan, sister Rita, mother
Rosalia and father Vernon.

Donna was an avid gardener and reader. She was a member of the Burnsville Garden
Club, played in a bridge club and bowled in a lady's bowling league. Doug and Donna
enjoyed watching British mysteries on TV especially on their three season porch in the
summer. They enjoyed many Xerox incentive trips and had a highlight trip with Tiffany
and Michael to London, Paris and Dublin. She especially loved traveling to Phoenix
and Los Angeles to visit Michael, Tiffany, Mike and her precious granddaughter
Audrey. She was a lovely person, a great wife, homemaker and loving mother,
grandmother, sister and aunt.

A Memorial visitation for Donna will be held at White Funeral Home in Burnsville 12804 Nicollet
Ave. from 5-8 p.m. on November 20. A funeral service will be held on November 21
starting at 1 p.m at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church 5025 Knox Ave. S in Minneapolis with a
memorial visitation one hour prior to the service with a luncheon to follow.

Memorials preferred to Burnsville Breakfast Rotary Club and Robert Lewis House Eagan.
