Donna Marie Cecelia Kuhn was born on July 29, 1940, to William and Cecelia Zins in Belle River, Minnesota. Growing up on a farm as one of ten children, she learned early the value of family, hard work, and perseverance. Those lessons shaped a life devoted to faith, service, and love for others.

After graduating from Alexandria High School, she enlisted in the military and proudly served her country in the US Air Force as a Medical Specialist Airman Second Class. During those years of service, she helped deliver more than a thousand babies and developed a deep sense of patriotism that she carried throughout her life.

While serving, she met and married the love of her life in 1962, William F. Kuhn III. Together they built a strong and loving family rooted in commitment, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion. As a military husband-and-wife team, they shared both the challenges and joys that came with military life, always putting family first.

Donna was a devoted parent to Sandra and David and a proud Nana to "the boys" Phillip, Mitchell, and Dillon.  Aunt, Sister, Sister-in-law, and a friend to anyone.  We will always remember the warmth of her presence, the steady guidance she offered, and the way she made every gathering feel special. Whether sharing stories about growing up on a farm or recounting her military experiences, she was always offering practical advice. Sometimes, simply sitting together and enjoying quiet moments, she made those around her feel loved and valued.

Friends and family fondly remember her faithfulness, dedication, and sense of humor. She was the kind of person who could always be counted on; someone who believed deeply in caring for others and living with integrity.

After a prolonged illness, Donna passed away on May 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

She is survived by her husband, William Kuhn; her daughter, Sandra (Robert); her son, David (Yetta); her grandsons, Phillip, Mitchell, and Dillon; and her brother, Clifford (Donna).

Funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 29, 2026 at the Church of the Risen Savior in Burnsville, Minnesota. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with funeral services immediately following. Interment will take place later with family at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
