Duane B. Alley, age 79, of Farmington, passed away peacefully at his home on March 23, 2026, surrounded by family.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, David and Judy.

Duane is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Nancy; children, Danette Alley and Jarad (Katie) Alley; grandchildren, Tucker ("T-Man"),  Amber ("Two Cents"), and Tanner ("Best Bud"); as well as other loving family and friends, including Nancy's family.

Duane moved to Farmington from Montana in 2013, when he insisted on being closer to his grandchildren. Prior to his move, he proudly farmed in Montana for many years, where one of his favorite parts of farming was operating the combine and spending time in the tractor. In addition to farming, Duane worked as a crop adjuster, traveling throughout the state of Montana, where he was well known and respected in that role.

He enjoyed playing softball and refereed high school basketball for 25 years. Duane loved working in the yard, riding his mower, and spending time outdoors. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, March 27, 2026, at White Funeral Home, 901 3rd St., Farmington. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 12-1pm PM, one hour prior to the service.
