Edith I Gay (Fernandez) 70, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, January 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Edith was born on December 30, 1954, in Brooklyn, New York, to parents Francisco Fernandez Ruiz and Carmen I. Feliciano Cordero.

Edith endured a twenty-plus year battle with cancer. Her strength and resilience finally gave way to the rest she so well deserved. Full of life and energy; she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and neighbor. She was known for her kindness, her caring nature, and her ability to light up any room with her infectious spirit. The true life of the party, Edith brought joy, laughter, and love to everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.

Edith is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Ken; sons, Daniel (Samantha); Christian (Molly) and Michael (Allie); 6 grandchildren; Sister Annette Fernandez (Josue Perez); as well as many other loving friends and family members.

She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
