With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother Elaine Higgins, on Tuesday July 8th.

Born on September 16th, 1949 in Queens, NY, she was a shining light in our family. She was known for her infectious smile and her dedication to her family and friends. She instantly made friends with anyone and everyone, and easily became a favorite to a lot of people because of her caring, kind and humorous attributes.

Her spirit will forever be in our hearts. She is survived by husband, (of 52 yrs) John, daughter Barb (Lori), and son Patrick (Jaimie) and grandson, Aiden.

Thank you for being the best wife, mom, grandma, aunt and friend! We all love you!

In lieu of flowers, we ask that attendees bring stuffed animals, because she absolutely adored stuffed animals. The family will donate the stuffed animals to local hospitals.
