Elías Elizondo Nava passed away at 71 on October 24, 2026. Elias was born on January 26, 1955 in Juarez, Chihuahua, MX; the son of Jose Ines Elizondo Garcia and Petra Nava de Elizondo. He spent years working across the country in electronic retail and service industry with a long career in Best Buy. More importantly, he dedicated over 45 years to the ministry under the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus with over 25 years of pastorship in Detroit, MI and St Paul, MN. He dedicated his life to the evangelism of the gospel of Jesus Christ and discipled many ministers and opened new churches. He is well known for striving to be considered a “man that walked with God.” Elias loved laughing never missing a chance to cut a joke to make those around him laugh. He was also a man that loved to learn, earning two Master of Science degrees at the age of 64 at the University of Minnesota. He has a long legacy of helping those in need around him and strives to make others lives better.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Raquel Elizondo, and his four sons: Andrew Elizondo, Adam Elizondo, Aaron Elizondo, and Abel Jordan Elizondo, and 10 grandchildren. Elias is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ruben Elizondo Nava.

Celebration of Life service will be held from 10 AM to 1 PM Tuesday November 10, 2026 at the Lighthouse of St. Paul Church, 215 George Street West, Saint Paul, MN 55107. Private Interment, Lebanon Cemetery, Apple Valley, MN.
