Elizabeth Jean O’Halloran “Betty” age 100 of Burnsville, MN passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026, surrounded by family. Betty was born on January 13, 1926, in Kansas City, MO to John and Mary (McCann) Kasten. Betty grew up in Kansas City and graduated from St. Vincent de Paul Academy. Betty worked for American Beauty Macaroni as an office administrator in her early professional life and married James O’Halloran on October 11, 1952, in Kansas City, MO. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, James; siblings Mary Kasten, Hazel Kasten, Frances (Bob) Andregg, and John Kasten. Betty is survived by her children, Mary Jeanne (Pat Schneider) O’Halloran, Jim (Laura), Patrick (Lisa), Gerard (Melissa), Mike (Mary Jo), and Cheryl (Chris) Behling, 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sister, Joan O’Connor, and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday October 5, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4625 W 125th St., Savage, MN with a visitation starting at 9:30 AM at the church. Interment: Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be donated to Second Harvest Heartland Food Bank.
