Elmer Arthur "Al" Berg of Rosemount, MN, passed away peacefully at home on December 31, 2025, at the age of 81, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Minneapolis, MN, on December 17, 1944, to Elmer and Edith Berg, Al was the youngest of six children.

In 1988, Al married his beloved wife in St. Paul, MN. He enjoyed a fulfilling career at Xerox, retiring in 2004 after 39 dedicated years. Al had a passion for golf, fishing with his son-in-law, and cherished time spent with family and friends. He was an avid Vikings fan and shared his life with many cherished golden retrievers.

Al is survived by his wife Cindy, his daughters Cynthia Berg and Carine (Matt) Steffens, as well as numerous other loving relatives and friends. His surviving siblings include Janet (Jack) Berry, Jack (Marge) Berg, and sister-in-law Nancy Berg.

Al was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Edith Berg, his brothers DuWayne and Bill, and his sister Vicky (Woody) Torgerson.

A Celebration of Life will take place on May 8th from 11 AM to 2 PM at Valleywood Golf & Events in Apple Valley, MN.
