George McQuiston, age 85, of Farmington, formerly of Minneapolis, passed away September 12, 2026. 

In his early years, George worked at Kline Automobile in St. Paul, Minnesota, in the parts department. He later became Parts Manager and subsequently Manager of the Service Department. After 35 years with Kline Automobile, he began working at ABRA Auto Body, where he spent many wonderful years and thoroughly enjoyed his work and the people he met along the way. 

George proudly celebrated 57 years of sobriety, setting a positive example for many others who faced similar challenges. He had a lifelong love of cars and farm tractors. He especially enjoyed his 1957 Chevy and had a great appreciation for automobiles. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and enjoyed watching all sports, always cheering for Minnesota teams. 

Above all, George was a loving husband, a good father, and a beloved grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Maralee; sons, Craig (Pam) McQuiston and Mike McQuiston; grandchildren, Scott (Sarah) and Christine (Todd); and great-grandchildren, Michael George and Adelynn; and brother, Larry (Mary) McQuiston. 

Memorial Service Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 1 pm at White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Ave., Apple Valley, MN 55124. Memorial Visitation from 12 to 1 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
