James Michael Meehan, born March 19th, 1952, passed away peacefully on December 6th, 2018. James Michael Meehan was born in St. Paul, Minnesota. Known to his friends as "Minneapolis Jim" he was an accomplished lawyer, poker player and father.  He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota for both his bachelor's degree as well as his Juris Doctor. He always took after his father in his love of sayings, often modifying one of his fathers favorites to "I came from St. Paul a single man and look at me now". He was preceded in death by his father, Edward J. Meehan and his mother, Katherine Hessian. He is survived by his four sons, Eric, Michael, Edward and Timothy and his six grandchildren, Taylor, Trevor, Tucker, Morgan, Decklan and Grayson. Funeral Service to be held at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel 3600 Hennepin Ave. Minneapolis, MN on  Monday, December 10th, 2018 at 12:00 PM. with visitation 1/2 hr. prior to service.
