Obituary

Janis L. Parrott

June 10th, 1934 - February 4th, 2026

Janis Louise (Doyle) Parrott passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 4th, 2026. She was born to Edwin and Alice Doyle in Rosemount, MN, where she graduated and lived until she met the love of her life, Gerald (Pinky) Parrott. A few years after getting married they relocated to the Farmington area where they lived for the rest of their married life. Janis and Gerald were blessed with 6 children.

Janis supported her husband Gerald in starting their business, Polly Auto Parts, though her most important job was raising her children. It was her true calling that gave her immeasurable joy. Janis was a true example of unconditional love when it came to her family. She cherished the time that she was able to spend with them.

Janis grew up in town, but she was truly a country girl at heart. She loved being outside surrounded by nature. She enjoyed wildlife and bird watching, with hummingbirds being her favorite. Janis enjoyed flower gardening and looked forward to creating beautiful spring pots. She loved animals and had many pets during her life, her last being her beloved dog Bobby, who was her faithful companion after her husband's death.

Janis was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, sons Pat, Mike and Dan, sons-in-law, Randy Coffey, Ed Neidzielski, daughter-in-law Tonette Reisinger and granddaughter Makayla Parrott. She is survived by her daughters Cindy Coffey, Pam Parrott (Pete Kluender) and Linda Neidzielski. Daughter-in-laws Beth Parrott and Malissa Parrott-Stanke (Jason) 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and her sister Ann Garcia.

She will be deeply missed by family and friends whose lives she's touched with kindness and love. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to:
