Aug 1, 1956 — Jun 19, 2026
Jeffrey Floyd Scislow, 69, of Apple Valley, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026, surrounded by his family and loved ones.
Jeff was born on August 1, 1956, in Bloomington, Minnesota, to Edward and Janice Scislow. He grew up in Bloomington and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1974. Following graduation, Jeff enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served from April 1975 to February 1979. During his service, he earned the distinction of expert marksman, graduated as an Honor Man, and was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant.
Jeff began his real estate career on June 15, 1986, starting with Coldwell Banker before joining RE/MAX Results in 1987. Over the course of his distinguished career, he sold more than 3,400 homes, became the number one RE/MAX agent in Minnesota eight times, and received numerous RE/MAX honors, including the Hall of Fame, Lifetime Achievement, Circle of Legends, and Luminary of Distinction awards.
Jeff was a man of strong faith and remained deeply involved in various churches throughout his life. He shared his testimony of miraculous healing from aplastic anemia, welcomed and hosted evangelists from around the world, and participated in mission trips where he helped build schools, wells, and churches. He had a remarkable knowledge of scripture and could recite passages from the Bible by heart.
Jeff was a world traveler, wine connoisseur, sports car enthusiast, and a devoted father. He loved spending his winter vacations in Cancun, Mexico, surrounded by family and friends. Throughout his life, he traveled to more than 100 countries and embraced countless adventures, including memorable trips throughout Europe, particularly Greece, the Netherlands, and Spain; attending Wimbledon in the United Kingdom; participating in the astronaut training experience at the Kennedy Space Center; and climbing Mount Fuji.
Jeff was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent his life providing for his family and ensuring they could thrive. He taught us that actions speak louder than words.
Jeff was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
