Jennifer Haines McGahan, 60, of Burnsville, MN passed away peacefully into God’s kingdom on November 5, 2026. She was born on May 28th, 1966 to the late Bernard A. Haines, Jr., and Doris Kuhns Haines. She grew up in Lawrenceville, New Jersey and enjoyed swimming and playing the flute in the band. She graduated from the University of Maryland and worked in the field of Environmental Resources Management. After starting her family in Maryland, they moved to Georgia, and then to Savage, Minnesota, later settling in Burnsville. She worked for Viking Client Services for 19 years as a trainer.
A dedicated community member, Jenny prided herself on her strong family ties, longtime friendships, and her faith and involvement in her church, Living Joy. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years and a strong supporter of the Prior Lake Savage Area school district for her children. She taught her children strength and self-determination with grace; her love for her family was her greatest asset.
Surviving family members are sons Benjamin Dean McGahan (Sarah), Mitchell Calvin McGahan, daughter Heather Mae Brudwick (Chase), grandchildren Brekken John Brudwick and Lottie Mae Brudwick, partner Alex Haugen, and sister Melissa Haines Sleeth (Ronald). She also leaves behind many loving relatives and valuable friendships that meant so much to her. Through her final moments she held the strong conviction that we are all beautiful children of God!
