In Loving Memory of Jerome Jerry Joseph Brand July 27, 1935 – November 2, 2026 Jerome Jerry Joseph Brand, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on November 2, 2026, in Duluth, Minnesota, at the age of 91.

Born on July 27, 1935, in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Jerry lived a full and meaningful life defined by dedication, hard work, adventure, and, above all, love of family.

Jerry graduated from Rosemount High School in 1954. In 1957, he proudly began his service in the United States Army, stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska, where he served as an armorer. During his military service, he earned a marksmanship award and was a member of the Army's cross-country ski team. His time in Alaska reflected his adventurous spirit and his willingness to embrace new challenges.

Following his military service, Jerry pursued a career in the oil and gas industry, earning a degree in petroleum engineering while working for Mid-American Pipeline Company. His professional career took him to many places, but much of his life and career was centered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he and his family made their home and where he spent many rewarding years building both a career and a life filled with memories.

Jerry was a man who enjoyed the outdoors and appreciated the simple pleasures of life. His interests included hunting, fishing, woodworking, traveling, and hiking. Whether exploring new places, spending time in nature, or working with his hands in the woodshop, Jerry found enjoyment in staying active and pursuing the things he loved. He had a curiosity about the world and an appreciation for life's adventures.

Above all, Jerry treasured his family. He shared 63 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Sharon, building a lifetime of memories, experiences, and enduring love. He was a devoted father and took great pride in his family.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Sharon Brand; his son, Mark Jerome Brand, and daughter-in-law, Robin; his brothers, Richard Brand and his wife, Cece, and Robert Brand and his wife, Connie; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Michael Kevin Brand; his brother, Bernard Brand; and his sister, Mary Notch.

Jerry will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, his adventurous nature, and his love of the outdoors. His life was one of commitment, perseverance, and countless memories shared with those he loved. Though he will be deeply missed, the stories, lessons, and memories he leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A life well lived, a family well loved, and a legacy that will endure.

Funeral Services A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Saint Joseph Catholic Church 13909 Biscayne Avenue West Rosemount, Minnesota

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Jerry's life and honor the memories of a man who meant so much to so many.
