Obituary

JOAN MARIE PAQUETTE

February 24, 1934 – March 17, 2026

Joan Marie Paquette (Bluhm), Age 92, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026.  Joan was a woman of quiet strength, unwavering faith and boundless love and compassion. She lived her life with grace, always putting others before herself.

Born in Morgan, MN, she carried with her the values of kindness, perseverance, and generosity. She was not only a devoted mother but also a trusted friend, a wise counselor, and a gentle soul, whose presence touched the hearts of all who met her.

After graduating from Morgan High School in 1952, she went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Paul until 1959. She devoted many years to her family before returning to work. She catered at the Eagandale Tennis and Racquetball Club and later Reception/Scheduling at Oxboro Clinic in Bloomington until her retirement.

She loved cooking and entertaining, playing cards, all types of handwork, traveling, motorcycling, snowmobiling and wintering in Texas.

She is survived by her sister, Sharon Manion, brother, Mike (Julie) Bluhm, children, Michelle Kinsman, Paula (Tom) Trudell, Phillip and Gregory (Brook), six grandchildren, Jennifer, Chris, Lonni, Justine, Matthew and Remi, 6 great grandchildren, Callie, Rowdy, Hogan, Johnny, Dahlia and Aliza. She is reunited in peace with her husband, Len, parents, Agnes and Rudolph Bluhm, and son-in-law, Gregory Kinsman.

Our memories of Joan will forever be woven into the fabric of our lives — in every act of kindness, every smile, and every moment of love.
