Joanne Charlotte Taplin, age 62 of Apple Valley, MN passed away unexpectedly on March 13, 2025. She was a loving wife and devoted friend. Joanne was a light to everyone she met. Faith in Christ was the foundation of her life. She loved praying for people and telling them the Good News about Jesus.

Joanne was born on July 3, 1962 in Madison WI to Merle and Gladys Dustrude. She met Tim- the love of her life- in 1990. They married eight months later. Joanne went to school for Broadcast Journalism and worked as a radio announcer at KYCR (Golden Valley) about 7 years. In her free time, Joanne enjoyed crafting, and was a talented artist. She loved telling jokes; many that were originals.

Joanne is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Tim; daughter, Cassie (Andy) Pethes; grandchildren, Rylie and Isaiah; brothers, Ted and Bruce Dustrude, also by other relatives, and friends.

Joanne truly showed the love of God in her days here on earth. We look forward to a Celebration of Life, will be held 11 AM Saturday April 5, 2025 at Stonebridge Church, 1301 Cord 42 East, Burnsville, Mn with fellowship to follow.
