John Ajibade Faji, age 88 of Lakeville, MN passed away on December 16, 2025. John was born on July 29, 1937 in Ogidi, Kogi State, Nigeria to Odeyemi and Olokoniun (nee Oludemi) Faji. John was in the civil service as a journalist in Radio Nigeria, Radio Kwara and Radio Kogi for over 35 years before retirement. He started his career in civil service as a clerical staff and rose through the ranks to become a deputy general manager at retirement.

John is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Philomena; Children Victoria Afolayan, Joyce (Johnson) Adegbite, Julie (Theophilus) Adegbile, Judith (Aderemi) Aderibigbe, Jude (Deborah) Faji, and Victor (Juliana) Faji; 10 grandchildren, and other family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM, January 29th 2026, at All Saints Catholic Church 19795 Holyoke Ave, W Lakeville, MN with Visitation starting at 10 AM at church. Interment at All Saints Cemetery.
