John Joseph Lauer, age 90 of Hampton, MN passed away peacefully at home on November 30th, 2025. John was born on December 25, 1934, in Minneapolis, MN to Emil and Pearl (Withee) Lauer. He was raised in Minneapolis and loved his many neighbors and friends. At the age of 16 he started to work for his dad's cement business, Emil Lauer and Sons. He later worked for his cousin as a laborer and bricklayer. John and his parents moved to their cabin on Pulaski Lake in Buffalo, MN where he loved the time spent on the lake with family and friends. He retired in January of 1992. The last 30+ years he lived in Hampton, MN with his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Darlene.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Pearl, and brother, Larry.

John is survived by his sister, Kaye Willner and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, as well as many other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:30-2:30pm Monday, December 8th 2025 at White Funeral Home, 901 Third Street Farmington, MN.  Burial will be at 3:15pm at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Hwy 13 E Burnsville, MN. A Reception/Gathering will be held from 5-8pm at the Lauer/McKinley family home 24406 Blaine Ave Hampton, MN.
