Judith Alice Giefer, age 82, of Farmington, passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2025. Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lou Giefer, and her sisters, Margaret Kemp and Norma Johnson.

She is survived by her cherished children, Chad Giefer (Liz Anderson) and Holly Giefer, along with numerous other loving relatives and many dear friends.

Judy will be fondly remembered for her contagious laugh and her genuine love of being around people. She enjoyed working at the Farmington Bakery and later at the Farmington Middle School, where her love for children was evident to all who knew her. In her spare time, Judy enjoyed trips to the casino, but most of all she was deeply passionate about her family and fiercely loyal to those she loved. Her warmth, laughter, and devotion will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Judy's life will be held on Friday, January 2, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home, 901 3rd Street, Farmington, Minnesota.
