Judy Landais age 83, of Apple Valley, peacefully passed away at the Moments in Lakeville on August 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving daughters.

Judy was a sister, mother, grandma, friend and a devout Catholic. She was born on February 11, 1943, Judy grew up in Glencoe, MN. After graduating from high school, she moved to Minneapolis, where she studied cosmetology and lived with her sister Shirley. Judy became the family's personal hairdresser. She eventually settled in Apple Valley, a community that she proudly called home for more than 56 years.

Judy's main career was at Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Eagan. Where she held many positions and made lifelong friendships.

At home, Judy found joy gardening, tending to her flowers, and watching the seasons unfold in her backyard. She had a love for birdwatching and one of her favorites were the eagles on Keller Lake. She never tired of watching the eagles soar in the sky, and of course she adored butterflies!

Judy enjoyed traveling with family and the annual family vacation to Toad Lake. After she retired, she enjoyed trying out new recipes. Judy's greatest joy was her grandsons. She treasured every moment she spent with them, celebrating their milestones, listening to their stories, and watching them play soccer.

Judy is survived by her daughters, Michelle Toranza (preceded in death by her husband, Bill) and Kerry (Michael) Bettenburg. Grandsons: Myles Landais, Matias Toranza, and Nicolas Toranza. Sisters: Shirley Vollrath, Sandra McNellis. Brothers: Leon McNellis (Sally), Dale McNellis, and Sam McNellis. Brotherinlaw: Vernon Brelje, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at White Funeral Home, 20134 Kenwood Trail, Lakeville, MN.
Burial will take place on Friday, August 14th. Please meet at 12:45 PM at Johnson–McBride Funeral Home, 1222 Hennepin Ave N, Glencoe, MN 55336. The service will begin at 1:00 PM at St. Pius Catholic Cemetery, Glencoe, MN.
