Obituary

Judith Marie Baeb Schilling, born June 24, 1934, to Joseph and Lucille Baeb, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026, at the age of 92, in Burnsville, MN. She was born and raised in Green Bay, WI. She attended Valparaiso University where she met her loving husband, Allan Kenneth Schilling. They were married for 54 years. Together they raised three children: Allan, Jr., Bradley, and Cynthia (Jeff) in Burnsville, Minnesota. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Al, her parents, aunts and uncles, and other extended family members. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her sister, Barb Johnson, cousins, friends, and her special friend, Jerry Helding. She will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. Judy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished her family and friends. Judy had four grandchildren, Ashley (Kyleen) Schilling, Andrew (Brenda) Nepsund, Mikelle (Gabe) Larson, and Jared (Jessi) Wickentree, and eight great-grandchildren, Vienna, Banks, and Leif Schilling, Emmett and Ollie Nepsund, Ruth and Heidi Larson, and Rowen Wickentree. She cherished her family and friends, and recently enjoyed spending time with her great grands. They adored their Gigi. She lived life to the full, spending time at her cabin in northern Minnesota and her villa in The Villages, FL. She enjoyed playing Samba and Mexican Train, going out with friends, and spending time with her family. Judy loved shopping, getting her nails done, and chocolate! She had a great sense of humor and had a knack for connecting with others. She was loved by so many. Judy was a long-time member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Burnsville, Minnesota. Her faith was very important to her, and it showed in how she cared for and loved others. Judy enjoyed a career in a variety of secretarial positions in the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District. She loved her work and made many life-long friends at various settings within the district. A Celebration of Life for Judy will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 13801 Fairview Drive, Burnsville, MN, on Friday, September 11, 2026, with visitation at 10:00am and service at 11:00am in the chapel. A reception will be held following the service. A private interment will take place at Lebanon Cemetery in Apple Valley, Minnesota. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church www.popmn.org, Hospice Minnesota www.minnesotahospice.com/give/, or Compassion International www.compassion.com/
