Judy Carolle Luebben, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025, at the age of 83, in Elko New Market, Minnesota. Born on October 31, 1941, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Judy filled her years with love, laughter, and a vibrant spirit that touched everyone she met.
Judy was the cherished daughter of Maynard and Henrietta Sprute, who instilled in her the values of kindness and a strong sense of community. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Franklin Gene Luebben, with whom she shared a deep and abiding love for over 54 beautiful years. Their lives were intertwined in both business and leisure, as they owned a bowling shop in Minneapolis, where they created countless memories with friends and customers alike. After many years of hard work, they retired to enjoy the warmer climates of Gold Canyon, Arizona, in the winters, while spending their summers in the picturesque surroundings of Cannon Falls, Minnesota. It was in these serene settings that Judy truly flourished.
Judy leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold her memory close. She is survived by her daughters, Laurie Ann Werner and Brenda Kay (Dave) Rasmussen, as well as her grandchildren Nichole (Marc) Nielsen, Maynard (Heidi) Moe, Elise Carol Rasmussen, and Grace Marie Raymore Rasmussen. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Jeffrey, Declan, Thork, Jayden, Miura, and Mckenzie, who brought immense joy to her life.
Judy was a woman of many passions. In her spare time, she found joy in ceramics, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her artistic flair. She was known for her impressive sense of humor and her ability to bring people together. Friends and family will fondly remember her wandering the RV park, sharing her famous pudding shots and sparking conversations that would brighten anyone's day. Judy had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and loved, embodying the essence of friendship and community.
Her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched through her social activities and warm-hearted nature. She was always ready to lend an ear or share a laugh, making every encounter memorable. Judy's warm smile and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
