Julie F. Woods
Julie passed away on Friday Jan. 31, 2025, surrounded by love from near and far away. She fought with courage and bravery. She was grateful to all and gracious until the end.
Julie proudly served in the US Army and worked in the nonprofit industry. She loved the clients of MRCI and would light up when sharing her experiences. Her last position before retiring was with NPIA, Inc, where she felt overwhelming support and kindness from everyone.
Julie loved traveling, old barns, reading, cherry pie, birding, photography and greeting everyone in the morning with enthusiasm. She was especially in awe of eagles and her ashes will be spread at a favorite eagle watching location.
Her greatest love was her two sons: Chris and Michael and their families. No one made her laugh more than Chris and Mike. She is survived by her wife Amy, Chris and Shannon Woods and her beloved grandchildren Andrew, James and Ellie Rose; Michael and Leslie Woods and granddog Milo. She is further survived by Amy's family and friends from all over the US. Julie had a few pets over her lifetime and her kittie Oliver Grayson is missing her. As we all are. She was preceded in death by her Mom, Carol Rose and her brother Larry.
We are grateful to Beyond Hospice, Dr. John Seng, Chara Anderson and Dr. Patrick McGuire. Their dedication and love will not be forgotten.
Julie chose not to have a service. If you would like to make a donation in Julie's memory, please consider an animal rescue in your area or the National Eagle Center, 50 Pembroke Ave, Wabasha, MN 55981 or a charity of your choice.
Love you Forever and Always
