Karen Ann Melbo, age 70, of Cannon Falls, MN, passed away on April 29, 2026 at her home surrounded by family. Karen fought a long 18 month battle with metaplastic carcinoma breast cancer.

Karen was born on February 2, 1956 in Minneapolis, MN. She met the love of her life in 2000, Keith Melbo, and they were married on April 21, 2022. Her and Keith enjoyed many weekends at their cabin up north.  She loved fishing, snowmobiling, riding their side by side and cooking.  She enjoyed being with the people she loved and having lots of laughs.  She also enjoyed spending time with her four daughters, spouses and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Keith Melbo; her daughters, Tina Mortland (Randy), Mackenzie Melbo (Andy), Erin Melbo (Marc), Kate Melbo (Simeon); her grandchildren, Scott and Kaylee Mortland, Geo Ellett, Spencer Ellett, Banks Pincombe, and one grandchild on the way.  She was also survived by her sister, Char Hatfield (Dave), and brother, Rick Wroge (Desi).

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fern & John LeClaire, her father, Herbert Wroge, and her grandmother, Francis Skow.

Visitation will be held at White Funeral Home located at 14560 Pennock Avenue, Apple Valley, MN on May 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM, followed by the Service at 11:00 AM.
