Kathleen M Joyce

Kathleen "Kathy" Joyce, 88, of Burnsville, MN, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2026.

Born April 28, 1938, to Margaret and Godfred Kainz. She grew up in Springfield, MN with her parents, brother Vernon, and sisters Carol and JoAnn. She worked at the Waterman- Waterbury Company where she later met her husband, Thomas C Joyce.

She married Thomas Joyce in 1961, and they shared forty-six years together raising their three children, Paul, Mary and Susan, before Tom's passing in 2007.

Kathy was a devoted member of St. John's the Baptist Catholic Church in Savage, MN and rarely missed a Saturday night Mass. She is remembered for her amazing pies, beautiful garden, canned goods, and her love for puzzles and reading.

She is survived by her children Paul (Jane), Mary (Rick) and Susan (Robert), eight grandchildren, Caitlin (Ross), Chloe (Bryan), Shaunna (Michael), Rikki, Rachel (Alec), Claire (Jake), Brett and Jake. She was also lucky enough to have 9 greatgrandchildren, Avery, Charlotte, Pruette, Olivia, Natalie, Aubrey, Otto, Ayden, and Savannah. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tom, and brother, Vernon.

The family and friends will celebrate her life on Thursday, September 24th, at St. John's the Baptist Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 11am with Mass at 12pm. Burial will take place following Mass at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Savage, MN.
