Kathleen Anne Liset White, "Kathy," passed away on April 24, 2026, in Burnsville, Minnesota, at the age of 71. She was born on July 26, 1954, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and lived a life with love, adventure, and unwavering kindness.

Kathy dedicated eighteen years of her career to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), where she formed many lasting memories and shared countless stories of her encounters with travelers from all walks of life.

She was married to her devoted husband, Shane White, for 46 wonderful years. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, and shared experiences. Kathy was a proud mother to her son, Brook White, and her daughter, Michelle (Alex) Gjavenis.She was also a loving grandmother to her six-month-old granddaughter, Myla, who brought her immense joy.

In her earlier years, Kathy cherished camping trips with her family. Weekend getaways and fall vacations created lasting memories for all. In the spring and summer months, she could often be found cheering on her children at their traveling baseball and fastpitch softball games.

Kathy's kindness and warmth were felt by all who knew her. She treasured long phone conversations with friends and family, filled with laughter and heartfelt connection. Her beautiful smile and contagious laugh left an indelible mark on everyone she met.

A passionate animal lover, Kathy cared deeply for all creatures, great and small. She had no tolerance for the mistreatment of animals and treated every living being with compassion and respect.

In recent years, Kathy faced illness with remarkable strength and grace, never complaining despite the challenges she endured. Throughout it all, Shane remained by her side, offering unwavering love and support.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Janet Liset. She is survived by her loving husband, Shane White; her son, Brook White; her daughter, Michelle White; her granddaughter, Myla; her siblings, Mary Anne, Mark, and David; and many cousins and friends whose lives were enriched by knowing her.

Kathy's memory will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have shared in her life. Her kindness, laughter, and love will continue to inspire all who knew her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the same love she so freely gave.

A private funeral service will be held on May 12, 2026, at 11:00am Mary Mother the Church in Burnsville.
