Kenneth "Kenny" Trefethren, a beloved husband, father, and Bampa, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025 at the age of 88. He was born in Alexandria, MN on April 17, 1936, and moved to Duluth at the age of 5. After attending Denfeld High School, he enlisted in the Navy as a Seaman First Class and was always proud of his service on the Captain's boat as they traveled the world. In his retired years, Ken enjoyed many road trips with his wife Jeri, traveling around the United States, visiting family and friends and enjoying the beauty of the world around them. Ken felt a deep connection to God, and would pray frequently and see those requests answered. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many friends. His quick wit and one liners brought laughter and joy to everyone he encountered.  He was always young at heart and will be truly missed by his family and friends.

And now, the end is near

And so I face the final curtain

My friend, I'll say it clear

I'll state my case, of which I'm certain

I've lived a life that's full

I traveled each and every highway

And more, much more than this

I did it my way- Frank Sinatra
