With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kevin Illa, 69 years of age, who left us on November 14 after a lengthy illness. Kevin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Illa and Carol Moorhouse, as well as his twin brother, Keith Illa. He is survived by his wife, Loralie (Otte) Illa; his children, Ryan (Crystle) Illa, Kyle (Michelle) Illa, and Eryn (Jeff) Triest; his grandchildren, Mason Illa, Jameson Triest, Bennett Triest, and Maci Triest; and his sisters, Sandy (Mike) Wood, Deb Ohmann, Mary (Joe) Gergen, and sister-in-law Cindy Illa, as well as many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Kevin had a deep love for his family and friends. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. We are grateful knowing that he is at peace.

Our family would like to thank The Moments Memory Care and Assisted Living, as well as Minnesota Hospice, along with the staff from both organizations, for the love, friendship, and support they provided over the past two and a half years. We are truly thankful for the dignified, respectful care they gave him, and for the kindness they showed in getting to know and appreciate his personality.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, November 24th from 5 to 8pm at White Funeral Home, 12804 Nicollet Ave, Burnsville, MN.
