Kevin Dean Rugg, 66, of Apple Valley, MN passed away on October 19, 2025 at home. He was born March 5, 1959, in Rochester, MN.

He attended Mayo High School in Rochester, MN. In 1981, Mr. Rugg married Deanna Rugg. He dedicated 35 years at American Office Systems and was an avid Minnesota sports teams fan and always looked forward to his annual fishing trip in Canada. He was known for his fun spirit and love of cooking for those he cared for.

He is survived by his wife Deanna Rugg; his children Benjamin Rugg [Katie Cook], Lindsy Leonoff [Justin Leonoff], and Peter Rugg [Dante Bear]; his parents Phillip and Marlys Rugg; his siblings Keith Rugg and Karen Stienman [Leroy Steinman]; and his granddaughter Claire Leonoff.

Mr. Rugg also is survived by many nephews and nieces and close lifelong friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Albert and Abby Rugg; and Norman and Pearl Erie.

There will be a Memorial Service at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at the Crowne Point Church, 7121 Bloomington Avenue South, Richfield, MN, with a small luncheon afterwards.  The Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM.
