LaDonna Von Bargen, born December 16, 1932, passed away on November 16, 2025.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years, Floyd; her sisters Mabel and Barbara, and her brothers Leroy and Richard.

She is survived by her children: Linda (Wayne) Kafka, William (Gina), and Paul (Kim); her grandchildren: Jason (Katie), Matthew (Jenny) Nicholas, Beth (Ryan Revee), Kyle Compardo, Chris, Corey (Tessa) Compardo, Courtney; and her ten great-grandchildren.

LaDonna had an adventurous spirit.  Over the years, she moved with her family from Minnesota to Alaska, back to Minnesota, then to Kentucky, and ultimately home again to Minnesota.  Along the way she made many lifelong friends.  She loved to travel, visiting friends and family whenever she could.  Clothes shopping was one of her favorite pastimes, and she was known for her always stylish, put-together look.  A wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, a devoted wife, and a cherished friend, LaDonna was a warm and generous presence in the lives of many - especially within her church and retirement community, where she formed deep and lasting friendships.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

LaDonna's Funeral Service will be held at Heritage Lutheran Church, 13401 Johnny Cake Ridge Road, Apple Valley, MN  55124 on Monday, November 24, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM with a Visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 AM.  A luncheon will take place following the Service.
