Linda Kay Brandau, age 75, of Lonsdale, MN, formerly of Joliet, IL, passed away on June 4, 2026, in Minneapolis, MN. Linda was born on December 16, 1950, in Joliet, IL, to John and Merle (Thompson) Wetherholt. She was a 1968 graduate of Joliet West High School. She married George Brandau on July 1, 1976, also in Joliet.

Linda was a stay-at-home mom and later became a receptionist when her boys were grown up. She was very creative and enjoyed gardening, puzzles, sewing, quilting, knitting, 3D printing, crafting, and the company of her dog, Shay.

Linda is preceded in death by her son, Ehren; her parents; and her sister, Barbara Beeson. She is survived by her loving husband, George; her son, Bryan, and his significant other, Jacquie; her grandchildren, Kaylen, Connor, Cameron, Tenley, and Marshall; and other family and friends. A private service will be held, and Linda will be laid to rest at Rosehill Cemetery in Frankfort, IL.
