Linda A. Jones passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025, at age 71, after a courageous year-long battle with illness. Known for her wit, warmth, and generosity, Linda was a beloved mother, sister, friend, and community member. A 1972 graduate of Harding High School, she dedicated her life to lifting others and making people smile—even during her most difficult days.
Linda was deeply involved in her community, especially through the Burnsville Fire Muster and the Saint Paul Winter Carnival, where she proudly served as the 2018 Senior Royalty Lady in Waiting. Whether donning her crown, dancing in the snow, or handing out buttons, she brought joy and sparkle to every event.
She was a proud Burnsville High School booster mom from 2004–2006 and retired from the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry in 2023, remembered fondly as both a respected leader and loyal friend. Linda loved traveling to visit family across the country and cherished every moment spent celebrating with loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Lois (Gurney) Vogel. Survived by her children: Robert Kirchner (Kayla) of Maryville, TN; Nicole Rozanski (Jesse) of Waterbury, CT; and Amber Jones (fiancée Ali) of Burnsville, MN. Also survived by siblings Mark Vogel (Debbie), Karen Larsen (Mike), Mary Bakken (Keith), Lew Vogel (Kay), and Joe Vogel (Michelle); and by her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial Service to be held on June 6th, 2026 11-2pm at the American Legion in North St. Paul
