Obituary

Linda Marie Satriano, age 70, of Rosemount, MN passed away peacefully with family and friends by her side. Linda is preceded in death by her father Jack, son David, half brother and sisters Jeannie, Rosemary, Pauline and Paul. Linda is survived by her children Justin Nelson (Kristi) and Angela Nosal (Curtis). Her grandchildren, Devin Willett, Kylie and Marek Nelson and Esther, Gratian , Rex, Veronica, Benedict, and baby Nosal, due in August. Linda is also survived by her mother Catherine Satriano, sister, Diane Albright (Kirk) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Linda was born on February 3, 1955 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She graduated in 1973 from Farmington High School. Linda went on to receive her associates degree from Inver Hills Community College and was a legal secretary for more than 30 years at Lindquist & Vennum. During her retirement years Linda became an entrepreneur and owned her own boutique in downtown Rosemount. She loved meeting new people and this gave her an opportunity to put her people skills to work. Linda had a passion for travel, golfing, bowling, going to the casino, listening to music, dancing and having fun. Wherever there was music, Linda was on the dance floor. Usually that was with her sister Diane. Linda's love of travel brought her to almost every US state and halfway around the world. The beaches in the Caribbean and the old narrow streets of Europe were her favorite. Whenever she had someone to travel with (sister, daughter or friend) she was off onto another adventure. Linda also gave her time volunteering with Houses for Haiti and Beyond the Yellow Ribbon over the years.

Linda's greatest accomplishment in life was being an amazing mother and grandmother. She could always be found at one of her grandchildren's activities, bringing treats to her son's house or traveling the 7 hour drive down to Nebraska to spend time with her daughter's family. Linda loved her grandchildren with all her heart. She was there from the very moment each of them came into this world and spent as much time with them as she could.

Linda will be missed by everyone who knew her. She always had a kind word to say, a smile on her face and an eagerness to help anyone when they were in need. Her last parting gift was that she was in the 1% of people who were able to donate organs. She was graciously accepted as a liver and kidney donor so three people will be caring on her legacy in their lives

We mourn the loss of Linda but know that her time with us on earth wasn't wasted but lived to the fullest. Her memory will remain with each and every one of her family and friends. We love you.
